About the role
Teach farmers modern farming methods to improve crop and livestock production
- Give advice on soil management, pest control, fertilizer use, and planting seasons
- Connect farmers to improved seeds, farm inputs, credit facilities, and markets
- Show farmers how to use new tools, equipment, and farming techniques
- Visit farms regularly to monitor progress, identify problems, and give solutions
- Arrange training sessions, demonstrations, and farmer group meetings
- Gather information on farm activities, yields, and challenges for the organization
- Help farmers understand and participate in agricultural policies and projects
